"Dog Days of Summer" at The Edison - Downtown LA
The Edison is one of my favorite lounges in Dowtown Los Angeles. The speakeasy vibe, Absinthe cocktails and the occasional acrobats hanging from the cieling are just a few of the highlights showcased in this reinvented underground power plant that originated in 1910.
Another reason to return this summer: "Dog Days of Summer." A mere $10 will buy you a hot dog, onion rings and any tap beer. This alluring meal deal is offered for the next two months of summer, Wednesday - Friday, 5 - 8pm.

And don't think I forgot to mention their happy hour, also offered Wednesday - Friday, 5 - 7pm, where you can order from a 50% off food menu. Every Thursday, The Edison happy hour boasts a 35 cent martini option (limit one per customer).
If you've never visited The Edison in Downtown LA, look for the back alley passageway for entrance, and it's always a fun idea to dress up for this spot.
