It’s the middle of summer, the weather is continuing to heat up, and you’re probably looking for any possible way to chill out and cool down. The District American Kitchen and Wine Bar at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel will be hosting an event that is sure to help you beat the heat. On Thursday, July 31st, the happy hour event, Get Frozen, will be taking place.
Get Frozen will feature Mixologist Matt Tobey’s new summer cocktail menu. All the drinks will be available for purchase. His Peaches for Two drink, made with Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine, will be the star of the show as guests watch Tobey concoct this frozen peach and watermelon Bellini. The intriguing part of this new cocktail is that it is frozen with liquid nitrogen which creates a cool and smooth texture.
Admission for this event is $10, which will include a sample of one of Tobey’s newest creations and a complimentary appetizer. Music will be provided by DJ Amber Giles. Get Frozen begins at 5 p.m. and goes until 7 p.m. There will be complimentary three hour self-parking validations as well.
