Is anyone else out there doing or finished the Depok Chopra 21 Days of Abundance Meditations? I finally completed it this week, and it was wonderful. The meditations were especially great, as sometimes it’s hard for me to slow down, and the mantras helped change my perspective on the concept of abundance. Day One’s mantra states, Today I behold all of the abundance that surrounds me.
I love the concept of inviting abundance into my life every day. It can come in many forms, but food is especially important. After my morning cup of tea, I get my day started right with nourishing food. I’ve made an effort to be extra healthy for the month of January and it has felt great, even though I miss the temptation of my nightly sugary treats.
Yogurt bowls are delicious “treats” that I like to incorporate into my daily diet. I like adding Greek Yogurt to my yogurt bowls because it’s high in calcium and protein. Plus, it’s packed with probiotics, vitamin B12 and potassium. Where have you been all my life? Greek Yogurt has become so popular, that many grocery stores now carry a lot of flavorful options. This particular recipe combines Greek Yogurt, along with some coconut yogurt and a tinge of honey.
To make this Abundance Coconut Greek Yogurt Bowl even more healthy and satisfying, I loaded it with fresh and frozen fruit and added some nuts and granola for texture and protein – yummy abundance. Using organic ingredients? Even better.
Here a fun foodie guide I put together for this bowl and the ingredients they represent for abundance:
1. Oranges: Happiness
2. Mint: Money
3. Nuts: Strength
4. Berries: Positivity
5. Yogurt: Balance
6. Granola: Gratitude
7. Honey: Health
1. In a bowl, mix both yogurts and honey until well combined.
2. Layer ingredients on top.
3. Enjoy!
