Brochella celebrates the best of Los Angeles. It is also a lot cheaper then Coachella so there’s that, too. Pre-sale tickets cost $10 or pay $20 at the door to go to this brilliant event. Here’s the thing about Brokechella - you can’t not love it. I’m going to tell you why. It’s because the musical acts go from a folk duo, yOya, to Usher’s favorite DJ, Beatscene Queen Kittens. There’s an Art Alley so you can check out 7 gallery artists paintings and photography and there’s going to be food and drinks and four stages to watch the musical acts and comedians. Plus, they'll have face painting - SOLD. All in all, I don’t think you can pay $10 (presale) for something like this and not have a good time.
Brokechella will be held on Saturday, April 19th at 590 Sante Fe, in Downtown Los Angeles. If you’re still not convinced, LA Times recognizes it as the community experience that skips “the mortal terror of your credit card statement” and “revels in staying at home.” I don’t know if there’s anything better than that.
