Made in ‘Merica Mojito (a Fourth of July cocktail).

Okay, so I know this is kind of last minute, but I just created the most amazing Fourth of July cocktail! While I should be out on a rooftop or beach somewhere catching the fireworks show, I am instead typing up a quick blog to share this fruity and fourth-inspired drink: Made in ‘Merica Mojito.

Aren't these straws fun?

So of course I stuck with the red, white and blue theme and created a refreshing beverage for a hot Fourth of July day. This drink is basically a mojito with blueberries and cherries. Instead of rum, I used Veev and added the red color with some 100% cherry juice I purchased from Trader Joe’s.

I found these adorable glasses and straws from Crate and Barrel and then the drink just came together. Now, here comes the fun part…I actually used Cherry Fun Dip to create the flavor rim for the drink! Also, to make an big impression on my friends, I decided to add a shot of cherry juice at the end to create my own mini cocktail “show” for them on July 4th. Simply add the cherry juice and the end and give it a quick store. I hope you are having a fun and safe Fourth of July and I hope you get a chance to make my Made in ‘Merica Mojito!
